Why Choose a Live Band + DJ Hybrid?

  • With our three-piece setup (guitar, bass, drums), all singing in three-part harmony, we bring real live energy and authenticity.

  • We handle the set up and soundcheck ourselves, making the setup slick and stress-free for you. All the AV during your night is taken care of by our onsite technician to keep the sound crystal clear during those all important speeches.

  • After our live set, we can hand over seamlessly to a DJ set (optional add on) so the party doesn’t stop — we keep the momentum going and deliver the hits until the end.

  • Because we know your crowd, we match song choices, tempo and transitions so everyone’s having a great time from first dance to last.

How We Structure a Christmas Party Set

  • Welcome / arrival: Some light festive groove tunes (live or background) to set the mood. Live sax or one of our fantastic acoustic singers works a treat for this section of the evening.

  • Background ambience: Time for canapés or a sit down meal, networking, mixers, speeches, raffle, auction etc. We can play the more jazzy festive DJ tracks or background music during this section of the evening.

  • DJ party warmup: We switch to party mode and pick up the energy, continuing the best festive hits and branching into popular party covers and requests to get everyone warmed up and onto the dancefloor.

  • Live main set:  Floor fillers galore, big singalongs and all your favourite festive bangers all delivered in our signature South West Band style. standout songs (like the top 10 list) delivered with energy, audience interaction and sing-alongs to keep your guests up and dancing all night long.

Bonus Tips for Your Event

  • Think about song timing: Start dropping the more chilled christmas songs on arrival to get people in the spirit while saving the more dancey ones for when the dancefloor opens

  • Don’t leave all the Christmas songs to the end — sprinkling them throughout keeps the festive spirit alive.

  • Consider a saxophone add-on or festive horns for extra sparkle and band dynamic.

  • Want your own twist? We can tailor one or two songs for your corporate branding or company theme.
