We loved every second of the set. We have had amazing feedback from all of our guests. We have been to 9 weddings this year and ours was the only one with a "posh pit" so cheers for that! Definitely book this band.
We wanted something a little different for our wedding — not just the typical DJ playing the same songs on repeat. Since we absolutely love live music, we knew the band had to be something special. When I came across South West Band on Instagram, I was instantly blown away. From the first clip I saw, I knew they were the ones. Not only are they unbelievably talented, but they also know exactly how to get the crowd hyped and keep the dance floor full all night long.
Honestly, BOOK THEM — it’s an absolute must! They were one of the best parts of our entire day, and we have zero regrets. If we could do it all over again, we’d choose them in a heartbeat. 10/10, without a doubt!
South West Band were absolutely fantastic! Their energy was infectious from start to finish, even taking requests from our guests — keeping everyone engaged and on their feet all night. Every song was spot on, and you could tell they genuinely love what they do. If you’re looking for a band that brings great vibes and knows how to get a crowd going, South West Band is the one to book!
SWB played our wedding at the Mowbray, with 2 band sets and DJ set between with a span of ours and our guests fav songs. They worked with us and our timings for the day. All our guests loved the sets and those that could were up on the dance floor - elder emo vibes all round. Hire these guys, you won't be sorry!!

Thanks to South West Band who were brilliant at our wedding, we had Henry doing the PA system during the reception and the 3 piece band and they created such a great atmosphere on the dance floor which was packed all night. Henry had great song suggestions and was great to work with both during the day and prior to the wedding getting everything organised. He was so relaxed with timings which was great on the day. The band played great music, the classics, some mash ups and some requests on the night. Thank you!

We were honestly bowled over with how amazing these guys were at our recent wedding! From the time of booking, communication from Henry and the guys was great, keeping us at ease and talking us through our options and reassuring any nerves that we had. They were super accommodating, adding another female vocalist for the evening at our request (and she was amazing!) As well as organising an acoustic singer for our wedding breakfast, who was again, phenomenal!
We did a first dance with a twist, mixing an old time classic into the modern day Drum and Bass mix and the guys went to the trouble of splicing these 2 tracks together to ensure that it blended well (and it went off when it did 🕺).
For the whole band sets. WOW. Absolutely smashed it out the park! Our guests were up dancing, the playlist was spot on and all of our guests have been commenting on how great the band and entertainment was.
I really can't recommend these guys enough, the perfect party atmosphere and reasonably priced! Worth every penny! Thank you so much guys! Just wish we could do it all again!
We hired South West Band for our wedding and oh my gosh, they absolutely smashed it!!!!! It was such a good party and we had SO many people telling us how unreal the guys were and how it was the best live band they’ve seen! They nailed it and the vibe was incredible. They brought the party to life and we cannot thank them enough. The band was the part of the day me and my partner were most looking forward to and they absolutely did not disappoint, it was better than we ever could have imagined. You WILL NOT regret getting this band for your wedding!
We booked South West Band for our wedding at The Normans in March and we honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. They were easily everyone’s favourite part of our wedding day! They were so easy to work with in the run up of our wedding day - very responsive to emails and provided really useful information re timings. Excellent on the day! Everyone was up on the dance floor having an AMAZING time :-) We can’t wait to see them play live again!
The band for our wedding was the one thing we took the longest to decide on and we are so glad we booked SWB. They were message responsive, prompt in setting up and played a set that clearly took on board the kind of music we said we like, whilst also using their experience to play tried and tested songs that get everybody up at weddings. Our guests, including those unable join in with dancing all commented that the band were really excellent. Thank you to Henry for ensuring all of our timings would allow for the best guest experience and to all the band for bringing your talent to our day!

We booked South West Band for our wedding which happened a few weeks ago, and we could not recommend them enough!
They are true professionals, bringing so much fun to the stage, not to mention talent. Our wedding was on a Monday, but they made it feel like a Saturday night with the level of energy they brought to our evening party!
I'm also a singer, and they were gracious enough to let me join them for a few songs. It was so meaningful for me to be able to sing at my own wedding, and I'm endlessly grateful to them for the opportunity to do it!
Their repertoire is extensive, and they were really open to hearing our song requests / songs we'd rather not have, meaning that the playlist felt really tailored to our tastes. We also booked their DJ package, which I would highly recommend if you want something a little different to the bog standard wedding hits you usually hear!
They also played our first dance, a slowed down arrangement of a Lewis Capaldi track, which was just perfect.
If you want a fun, lively party band with an incredible setlist, South West Band are a no-brainer.

We had the pleasure of having South West Bands at our wedding. They are superb. Organised, reliable and most importantly got the party started and kept the dance floor full.
South West Band played our wedding of 100 people and they were amazing. Dancefloor never emptied out and everyone was so impressed. The band worked with us to pick a setlist that worked for our occasion and I wouldn't hesitate to book them again for any event I could justify! Five stars not enough.
I recently got married and booked southwest band off of the back of them playing at my other friends wedding! I cant say enough praise about them - so friendly and went above and beyond with all my requests. They even let me live out my dreams and let me sing with them! And also let me play the drums at the last wedding ha ha! All of my friends still speak about how good and memorable they were with their mixes especially me brightside “but make it weird” 😂 i could go on but 10000% would recommend ❤️
We booked SWB after seeing them at a friend's wedding a couple of years ago. My now husband isn't usually a dancer but he never left the dance floor so when planning our own wedding having these guys was his only request and, wow, they did not disappoint.
From my first call with Henry I knew we were in good hands, we had them sort out the PA system for our entrance into the marquee and the speeches, the band for our evening entertainment, including learning our first dance, and then DJ set for the remainder of the evening. I loved the fact they could handle everything and it made it so seamless and stress free. We also included an acoustic set by James for the early evening between the meal and the band starting and he was just incredible. We have had so many comments from guests saying how fantastic the band were and what a great atmosphere they all created.
We genuinely couldn't recommend these guys enough, they were a pleasure to deal with and really made the evening of our wedding day absolutely fantastic!!
The lads at SWB absolutely smashed our wedding entertainment. All our guests commented how good the band and DJ sets were. Henry and the team were involved with us throughout and catered to our tastes, they even played a song live by our first dance artist that they hadn’t played before. Can’t give enough praise, cheers!
I had to have Henry and the guys for my wedding after being blown away by their performance at another wedding, and they did not disappoint!
The dance floor was packed all night, and a number of our guests messaged us to say how amazing they were.
They accepted all of my last minute requests (sorry) including a first dance change, which ended up way better than our original idea.
I woke up the day after my wedding with the biggest smile of my face, largely because of this band bringing the house down.
Would thoroughly recommend, and I can’t thank them all enough for making my wedding the best party ever 🤘
My husband and I saw South West Band a few years ago at a friends wedding. We didn’t know anyone at the wedding, but we stayed on the dance floor all night , if it wasn’t for SWB, we’d have gone home! So when we got engaged we’re organising our wedding, we couldn’t think of a better reason to choose anyone else. Fast forward 2 years and SWB played at our wedding, the comments we have had from friends saying how they are the best band they’ve seen, and how much of a good party it was - it was a night to remember and we can’t thank them enough for being apart of it. So THANK YOU again, would 100% recommend you won’t be disappointed!

My partner and I spent a long long time looking into bands for our wedding, it was one of the most important things for us. We were looking for both a great track list but also a great feeling from band themselves.
We ended up booking Henry and Shaun for an Acoustic Duo during the wedding breakfast and the 4 piece band for the evening.
If you are thinking of booking SWB for any part of your wedding or any function... Do not hesitate!
They were amazing start to finish, did an amazing job of getting people up dancing and really knew what they were doing.
We had multiple people coming up to us in the evening and the following days commenting how great the band were and some of our friends even approaching asking to book them for their own functions.
It truly was an amazing experience and we couldn't recommend the guys enough!
Having a good dance with all of our family and friends was top of the priority list for our wedding and South West Band did a perfect job of making that happen. Their energy was amazing they kept the dance floor full and hit every beat we asked for from indie disco to Irish anthems. We booked South West Band for our wedding in April at the Tithe Barn in Bolton Abbey, after seeing them on the recommended list. Well they didn’t disappoint! From the very first communication with the absolutely FABulous Lauren, the whole process was flawless. Lauren made everything so so easy, I absolutely loved speaking with her and no question was too much trouble.
They make sure the songs they choose for the set is to your taste in music. And boy did the boys put on an amazing show! All the guests were dancing the whole night and still comment on how amazing they were! We also asked the guys to sing our first dance and it was beyond magical.
We opted for the package with the DJ set - this worth every penny and meant I didn’t have to worry about any evening playlists.
Would 100% recommend, thanks for making our wedding so special and THE best party!

I can’t praise this band more. I told them way too much last night, but what a phenomenal evening.
As a family of musicians picking a band is no easy feat and when I discovered these 18 months ago they were already fully booked. However by some miracle they had a cancellation and booked us in!
In my opinion after hours of wedding band hunting south west are the best which was confirmed last night.
Don’t waste your time looking around, just pray you can get these booked!

They played at Matt and Ellie’s wedding party at Lake Henry (Instagram: @alexanderweddingsandevents) and expertly ‘read’ the dance floor playing a fabulous range of songs that had the dance floor buzzing all night long. The band interacted with their audience and looked as if they were having as much fun as we were dancing to the great tunes.
South West Band are definitely a 5 STAR band.

We first witnessed the power of SWB at my sister's wedding in 2022 (thanks, McMasters) and when it came to planning our own wedding, we knew we just had to have these guys. So we stole them.
SWB are INCREDIBLE. They absolutely smashed it on our wedding day and are still such a huge talking point whenever we discuss our day with anyone. Everything from the banging setlist they put together for us, to the perfect version of our first dance song they learnt and played for us, it was everything we wanted and more. We are so so grateful for the effort and energy these guys put into each and every song. So many people commented on how perfectly put together these guys were and the clear talent they all have, and we absolutely agree.
We also had SWB do the DJ set for the evening, which I would absolutely recommend as an add on. Communication, booking and everything in between was also a breeze (which is always a good thing when you have a trillion things to sort out!) The friendliest bunch you could meet.
Thank you a million times over for being such a huge part of our day, SWB. We absolutely love you guys!!
We had SWB for our wedding and wow do they know how to party! They were fantastic. From communication before the event, to little tips around timings, they were ace. And most importantly from the time they started playing to the end the dance floor was full, their set was excellent. Would thoroughly thoroughly recommend.

South West Band played the most amazing set for our wedding evening at The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey in December 2023.
From the initial chat with Henry over the phone, where he provided lots of details and tips for the wedding day, to Lauren, who was great in the run-up to the big day and helped us with any queries.
Requesting Coldplay for our first dance was no problem for them and they played a worldie in The Pogues to close out their set with some Christmas spirit. The addition of the DJ set to extend the entertainment was well worth it.
The lads on the night were great fun and up for a laugh. Despite never meeting them previously, they felt like our friends.

We booked SWB off a recommendation from our venue and they did not disappoint! High energy from start to finish, they ensured the dance floor was full, everyone had a great time dancing the night away and 3 months on, guests are still telling us what a great time they had and how brilliant the band were. We would highly recommend booking SWB for your wedding. You can be certain that the atmosphere would never fall flat and everyone would have a fab time. Got our tickets booked for their Leeds gig for my birthday weekend and we can’t wait.

We've seen Southwest Band at other events and we didn't hesitate to book them for ours. They were full of energy, picked a great selections of songs and really ensured everyone wanted to stay on the dancefloor! It was also great to see all the short clips they took of our evening too. South West were an amazing addition to our wedding in October 2023. They performed our first dance song as well as two sets live sets plus DJ provision in between these. They were amazing, and we had so many compliments from our guests too so we knew we weren't just biased! A personal highlight was being able to perform an impromptu bit of karaoke with the band which they had also captured on video. It was an unexpected but really thoughtful memory we now have alongside our wedding album and friends' photos too. We would have them back to another event in a heartbeat. Thanks to Henry for making the organisation easy and the band for being excellent entertainers and musicians - and a shoutout to Shaun for all the videos too ❤️
We loved having South West Band at our wedding on Saturday, the dancefloor was full all night and many of our guests remarked on how amazing the band were. In the lead up to the wedding they were very responsive to any questions we had and were able to work with us to plan a first dance where our guests would join us because we were nervous! Even on the day one of the lads (Tom?) caught my eye before the first dance and checked I was OK, then reassured me it would be fine - and of course it was! It really made me feel better about the whole thing. A great range of songs and a really great evening, we would recommend them to anyone!
Cannot recommend these guys enough - SWB played our wedding on 30/09 and absolutely blew the roof off the place. We’ve had so many people tell us how much they enjoyed the music, and they even squeezed in a last-minute cover of break stuff when one of our best men requested it. Safe to say that set the tone for the rest of the night!
Nothing was too much trouble, from the time we booked all the way up to the day itself. Henry and Lauren stayed in touch throughout, making sure our first dance was sorted in advance and even asking what our favourite (and least favourite) artists were so that they could tailor the set.
Shaun and the band were BRILLIANT on the night, and were very understanding when the dance floor got a little excitable - thank you for being such great guys! We had the best night, and so did our guests.
Southwest Band are a recommended supplier at Lake Henry wedding venue and we love having them. They create such a great atmosphere for your wedding and have your guests dancing from start to finish. The full service and all day package they provide is excellent. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to party.
