It’s always a joy to perform at The Normans in Bilbrough and this particular occasion we were back in the village to celebrate Megan and Joe’s special day!
After months of wedding planning on top of new parent responsibilities the couple definitely deserved to kick off their heels and let their hair down for a night with their nearest and dearest.
From the off the guests were well up for the occasion. Megan and Joe danced their first dance to the Beatles deep cut 'I got a feeling' while she waved her LED wedding bouquet in the air.
Shortly after all 140 or so of their guests piled onto the dancefoor and the party really kicked off!
Even Megan’s Gran was bringing the heat, taking to the stage to show off her ‘Red Hot Salsa’ moves and teach the young’uns a thing or two!
The DJ set was equally lively with one request for the Cardi B track 'WAP' being accompanied by an onstage dance off. Even one of the male guests got up and threw it back onstage, twerking away to the rap tune!
The second set was even more of a party and even came with our biggest ever stage invasion during one of the newlyweds special request songs! The stage at The Normans isnt tiny but was still entirely taken up by the wedding guests to the most unlikely of songs too 'Africa' by Toto!
The couple ended their night on the 90s throwback boy band classic 'Never Forget' by Take That. A fantastic ending to a top night at The Normans
Big singalongs, stage invasion, conga lines, all the baby Guinness, LED bouquet, a guest suplex, WAP….Cher! This wedding had it all and we had a top night partying with everyone! 🤘
