Monday Weddings are the new Saturdays!

The Pheasant Hotel in Harome: A Perfect Start to the Wedding Season!

It was a beautiful day at the Pheasant Hotel in Harome as Lucy and Rowan tied the knot. A rare Monday wedding, the first SouthWestBand wedding of 2023 after the new year, and it was a great one! The bride and groom, along with their family and friends, celebrated their love in the most magical and intimate way. And, as their wedding band, it was an honour to have SouthWestBand be part of their special day!

The Pheasant Hotel is a lovely wedding venue, tucked away in its quiet corner of Harome village, York. Perfectly suited for intimate weddings of guests between 12-80 with beautiful interior design, friendly staff and cozy warm atmosphere.

Lucy and Rowan's wedding was one to remember. The bride Lucy, 30 weeks pregnant was positively glowing in her beautiful dress and Rowan, being a jockey, had many friends from the horse racing world chomping at the bit to celebrate hard into the night!

The reception was a lively and joyous affair, with the bride and groom taking to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife to the Pop Punk Classic 'First Date' by Blink-182, one of our personal favourites! The guests were straight out of the blocks, up and dancing from the word go too, and it was fantastic to see everyone having such a great time, especially for a Monday in January!

As their wedding band, we were loving the energy the crowd brought and kept the party going with a mix of classic dancefloor favourites, Pop punk classics, indie bangers and sing-along anthems. The energy was high, the guests were on fire and the dance floor was packed all night!

In conclusion, Lucy and Rowan's wedding at The Pheasant Hotel in Harome was a fantastic start to the wedding season. It was an honor to be a part of their special day and to share in their joy. We wish them all the love and happiness in the world!
